CHARLES CITY – Police arrested an alleged drunk driver in Charles City this weekend who had his car on the wrong side of the road.
At 2:19 AM on Sunday, January 20, officers with the Charles City police department stopped a driver in the 1400 block of Gilbert Street, who was allegedly driving on the wrong side of the roadway. After an investigation, they arrested 44-year-old Terry Rodemaker of Garner for driving on the wrong side of the road and operating while intoxicated, first offense.
He was jailed and soon released, pending a court date.
