Man accused of drunk driving and causing accident in Northern Iowa that killed two teens

DES MOINES – An Iowa man is accused of drunk driving and causing an accident that took the lives of two teens.

On Monday, March 19, 2018, the Iowa State Patrol and the Clayton Sheriff’s Office working jointly arrested 20-yer-old Kory Allen Doeppke of Elkader, Iowa. Doeppke was arrested on two counts of Homicide by Vehicle, for causing the deaths of Brady Edwards and Izaiah Drinkwater. These deaths are a result from a motor vehicle collision which occurred on Friday, February 16, 2018. Allegedly, Doeppkee ran a stop sign and collided with another vehicle and two of his teenage passengers were killed.

Kory Allen Doeppke is being held at the Clayton County Law Enforcement Center on a $20,000.00 bond.
