Gov. Reynolds signs law allowing for broad forms of payment for amusement concessions at fair

DES MOINES – Gov. Kim Reynolds signed the following bill into law on Tuesday:

House File 2417: an Act relating to allowable forms for payment for amusement concessions at a fair. A participant in an activity authorized by this chapter may make payment by cash, personal check, money order, bank check, cashier’s check, electronic check, or debit card or credit card.

This bill passed the Iowa House on Feb. 26, 98-0 and the Iowa Senate on Feb. 27, 50-0.
