MENOMINEE, WISCONSIN – The innocence of a childhood ritual was spoiled in this Wisconsin community when the scourge of meth was discovered with a young one’s candy collection.

On Monday, October 30, 2017, the Menominee Wisconsin Tribal Police Department received a complaint of a suspicious package located in a child’s Halloween Candy. A small yellow Ziploc type baggy containing crystalline powder was located. The crystalline powder tested positive for methamphetamine a.k.a Meth.

The parent reported the children Trick or Treated in the Keshena area on the Menominee Indian Reservation.

The Menominee Tribal Police Department asked the community to check their children’s Halloween candy thoroughly.

Locally, trick-ortreating will be held throughout North Iowa and Mason City this evening. Any suspicious activity should be reported to law enforcement immediately.

  1. Meth destroys a persons feeling of well being for a long time to come. Simple pleasures that some take for granted now no longer exist in the meth ravaged mind. Tweakers can be spotted a mile off out in the public. Early death is unavoidable for heavy users of this tragic drug. It is very sad watching these people waste away in the light of day.

  2. I would think meth heads would be too unwilling to part with their narcotics, to just hand it out to kids.

  3. There’s always been shitheads in every generation ruining simple innocent things. The big scare back when was LSD, and razors in the apples. People do shitty things. You can’t force people to be good and God leaves us stranded to live with the consequences of freewill. People talk about revoking the 2nd Amendment, I say we revoke freewill just to lose the evil in this world. It would be worth it.
