  1. Interesting observation and it has happened numerous times in the past.
The “LVS” comment (time stamp September 3, 2017 at 8:33 am) and the “Matt Marquardt” comment (time stamp September 3, 2017 at 10:54 am) are almost identical in content, form and writing style.
    Coincidence you ask?
Perhaps once or twice, but this has occured countless times over the years.
Also, if you go back over the years in the NIT comments, you can sometimes find Matt Marquardt listed as the commenter but the comments are as if they are from someone else.
Something here is not as it appears….hmmmmm.

  2. I have met and talked to Capt. McKelvy several times and have always found him to be professional and helpful. I believe he will do a good job on this Board.

      1. Tell us about the law he broke. Not your opinion, but the official conviction. All of my conversations with him have been helpful and professional.

    1. It’s unfortunate that this post somehow became a debate on Captain McKelvey being appointed to this board. I have always found him to be the utmost professional, along with most of the MCPD. I’m certain he is deserving of this appointment and will do a fine job.

  3. steve its apparent that you have been in trouble with the law, just remember DONT call the DIMWIT when you have a problem. Its assholes like you that, forget it not worth my time

    1. Hey eighthead (because you have a double forehead), I do NOT have a criminal record. I don’t hate most Mason City cops because I want to break the law, I hate them because they break the law.

  4. The most dimwitted cop in Mason City and that is saying a lot! Since more then half of them are complete morons!!
