  1. Branstad just put a property tax reduction for small business owners in place last year – The pubic servants in Mason City destroyed that bill with the 100% tax increase for small business west of town. Sort of like Merlin Bartz and crooks did in worth county – gave a 11% tax reduction to farmland values and a !!% INCREASE in commercial property tax to small business owners. Very sneaky crooks being the supperviors own farmland.

  2. If Branstad thinks this will get votes for his party he is wrong. The Republicans are wrong about a lot of things lately.

  3. The mayor is a republican (RINO) lackey. Political appointments and perks such as these are the reward for being good little boys. The same is true with city council persons who vote themselves property tax breaks. No wonder Trump and Sanders are so popular.

    1. In all fairness, I seen him shovel it all into his mouth. We have to be accurate here at NIT. He shovels booze, food, snow cones, and God knows what else into his mouth, not his nether-regions.
