SAC CITY, IOWA – In an alleged vicious act of violence, a Northern Iowa man is accused of beating up his 17-year-old girlfriend and then smashing a puppy against a wall, killing it, and killing a second dog.
The Sac City, Iowa police report that on January 13, 2016, the Sac City Police Department investigated an alleged report of Domestic Assault and Animal Abuse at 604 Park Ave. Apt# 6 in Sac City, Iowa. Cody Dupre, age 25, and a 17-year-old female juvenile reside at this residence. After an investigation, Cody Dupre was charged with Domestic Assault for allegedly assaulting the 17-year-old female juvenile. Cody Dupre was also charged with 2 counts of Animal Abuse after he allegedly threw an 8 month old puppy against the wall and killed it. Cody Dupre allegedly also threw a Chinchilla against the wall and killed it.
Dupre was also arrested on a Sac County Arrest Warrant and was booked into the Sac County Jail. He was soon released.
Via social media, Dupre cut loose with a string of proclamations after this incident, saying “Thanks for sending me to jail … truth be told I’m not even that mad went to jail, I’m more sad because I miss you … What do I do? … I just want her to know that I’m sorry … I love her from her toes to all the way up past her nose”.

Animal abusers rot in hell. This man should spend at least 5 years in prison for this crime. No parole. 5 long solid years.

Thank goodness this psycho will now go on the FBI’s list of animal abusers to be watched for potential homicidal violence in the future, if he is convicted. I hope to hell they don’t let him plea bargain away any of the animal cruelty charges OR the assault against the girl. He truly belongs on the FBI list.
