NIT should request a detailed written accounting from the City Administrator of all expenditures to date since 2013 on this Renaissance scheme.
List names of all who have billed the City per Agreements and any other reason.
Such as the two fake developers who have been terminated often.
All consultants to the City, such as WHKS.
All legal firms, such as the Ahlers Law in Des Moines.
Any and all contractors & construction managers and architects.
List the revenue sources and amount of money from each the City has used to fund these claims for payment.
List any and all studies and their cost, the City has received related to this Renaissance plan.
List any sales sum for which this Iowa Reinvestment Act would grant state tax diversion if there was Final approval by IEDA of the pending application from MC.
Doubt there is any such revenue from within this 25 acre declining downtown area. Show the 20 year revenue forecast that would list the business tax sources that together MIGHT fund this pending $9.1M of state tax assistance derived strictly from within this little 25 acre district in downtown MC.
What will no doubt be seen is a line of money hungry players looking for easy public funding with little or no private funding for these schemes called projects.
The MC public deserves the full facts and financial truth.

Do you know any vets who are able to use the choice program you are speaking of? I don’t, and im at the local and des moines va several times a month. These programs may exist, but without proper funding, they wont sign you up for it.
Va told me the choice program was for those 45 minutes from any va facility. Having an office in town that does minimal testings is considered with in 45 minutes. So I still have to drive to des moines for my actual healthcare. Either the iowa va is lying, or this program is shit.

Yes, there are quiet zones. However a Federal inspector found them deficient, and additional work has/had to be completed by the City. And sites had/have to be re-inspected (the inspectors for Iowa are located in Kansas City, and cover almost 6 states – http://railroads.dot.fra). When that will be depends on workload I suppose.
Until the FRA approves the sites, the railroad will not risk ceasing the sounding of whistles at crossings. It’s all about liability.

Hillary Clinton has been investigated numerous times with the last one led by Republican Trey Gowdy and they came up with nothing.
Meanwhile, the Trump administration those corrupt officials are:
1. George Papadopoulos, former Trump campaign foreign policy adviser pleaded guilty last October to making false statements to the FBI.
2. Paul Manafort, Trump’s former campaign chair, was indicted on a total of 25 different counts by Mueller.
Manafort struck a plea deal with Mueller in September.
3. Rick Gates, a former Trump campaign aide pleaded guilty to false statements charge and one conspiracy charge.
4. Michael Flynn, Trump’s former national security adviser, pleaded guilty last December to making false statements to the FBI.
5. Michael Cohen: Trump’s former lawyer pleaded guilty to 8 counts — tax and bank charges, related to his finances and taxi business,
and campaign finance violations, related to hush money payments to women who had affairs with Donald Trump.
And the list goes on.
But as a Trump supporter you will deny the reality and make up some BS.
So how does any of this make “Trump is the most corrupt president in our history…” true statement? “Hillary Clinton has been investigated numerous times” by the corrupt FBI. Republican congressional investigations could not find corruption in the Obama administration. Firings now are because of Trump’s whining and fear since he is so corrupt (show us your college transcripts and tax returns). Republican congressional investigations could not fine criminal wrongdoing re: HRC even though they spent more than $10 million trying to do so. When there is no evidence to support criminal charges, republicans just say there is as pabulum for their base.
Liberal politicians are simply trying to create division in order gain votes — and save their cushy jobs. It’s time for term limits. Only then will we see ALL politicians trying to do what’s truly right for our country.
The terms that need the most limiting are those of Steve King, who’s never lifted a finger to represent us, and Chuck Grassley, who has apparently gone senile. As Al Gore said to Dan Quayle during the vice-presidential debate on Oct. 13, 1992 when Quayle started shrieking about term limits: “We’re fixin’ to limit one.” They did.
