Antifa and their ilk have served as the enforcers for modern progressives just as the Brownshirts served that role for progressives in Germany in the 1930s. And just like then, they’re attempting to purge them publicly because they’ve become a liability. A record exists of leftist Democrats in the media defending the group, praising them, and attacking Republicans for pointing out how dangerous they are.

The monster you created is now destroying your castle, Democrats. Maybe remember that the next time you build one, because we all know you will. President Trump and Republicans have nothing to do with it, aside from having warned the public for years.

Every conservative in America knows the Left couldn’t care less about Blacks. Virtually every leftist knows it, too, but lying for the cause is what the left does (think “Russian collusion”). And those liberals who have become increasingly indistinguishable from leftists know it’s probably true but won’t say so — lest they side with conservatives and, more importantly, be branded “racist” by the left.

If the left cared about blacks, leftists would work to raise blacks to universal academic standards, not lower and abolish standards as they have done for decades. If the left cared about blacks, leftists would work to elevate all people, including blacks, not only to universal academic standards but also to universal personal/moral standards. The most obvious of these is that women should marry before having children, and men should stay in the lives of children they conceived. If the left cared about blacks, they would encourage a vibrant religious life in the inner city (and everywhere else, for that matter).
If the left cared about blacks, leftists would increase — decrease — police presence in black neighborhoods, where blacks are murdered, raped and beaten in the thousands each year by other blacks. “What do you call a happy black person?”
    Answer: “A Republican.”

The uprising by the Antifa-Democrat axis, where state and local Democrat politicians wink at the violent, militarized wing of their party’s criminal antics in order to intimidate the normal, is going to be a disaster for the Democrats.

There were several factors that the bad guys failed to appreciate when they decided to exploit the protests. First, there was the sense of betrayal it would create. People agreed that the actions of the Minneapolis cops were unacceptable, but they also saw through the cynical effort to leverage that tragedy into an excuse for radical violence.

The media, aiding and abetting the “protests” were unable to control the narrative – the attacks on innocent business owners, and the threat to formerly off-limits (liberal) areas like Beverly Hills made normals identify with the victims of the riots,

The Orange Man might be Bad, but having rioters in your neighborhood is worse. Biden’s big decision is how to react to the crisis. He could babble incoherently in a church – this was hours before Trump made it bad to be around churches – and he could read off a teleprompter, but it’s his strategy that’s the challenge. He has to take a stand, and threading the needle he needs to thread would be tough for someone who wasn’t a step or two away from long talks with invisible bunnies.

All Biden gets is to alienate the radicals. Or he can continue with his embrace of these Antifa scumbags, which Trump will jam down his throat. Both options shrink his base in some way. Trump can only gain support from going law and order…unlike the Dems, he has no pro-chaos constituency.

Wait until Trump starts up on the hacks on Biden’s staff who were only too happy to tell the press that they were donating money to the bail fund for rioters… Everyone knows that if elected, Biden’s cronies will run the show, so this is a doubly potent weapon. Trump’s gonna take that bonehead maneuver and shove it up Biden’s ass.

And then there’s the vice-presidential choice. Amy Klobachar is out. Besides bearing the stink of Minnesota Democrats in general, she specifically failed to charge the killer cop the last time he tried to take out an unarmed black man. And Governor Karen from Michigan is out. Between her love of bossing folks around and her husband’s “Don’t you know who I am” antics, she’s also a person of modern anti-racism demands that people be evaluated by nothing but their race. Biden can’t choose Big Chief Warren despite her status as a make-believe minority because – and this is the saddest thing ever – she would overshadow him.

IMO – without the structure of a trained police force, citizens will have to take it upon themselves to protect life, liberty and property. That will quickly devolve into vigilante justice.

Personally I think the councils of Minneapolis and Los Angeles are crazy and have little brains. And I hope Minnesota and California have strong State Police systems, because the two cities will definitely need them. Unfortunately we cannot get by without our police. They are needed to keep law and order and to arrest those who commit crimes. And criminals will always be around. As soon as Minneapolis does not have a police department crime will soar. I feel bad for all law biding people when that comes.

The Central Iowa Metropolitan League, based upon guidance received from Governor’s Office of the State of Iowa, the Iowa Department of Education, the Iowa Department of Public Health, the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union, and the Iowa High School Athletic Association, has released its procedures for spectator admission to high school baseball and softball games this summer.
These procedures were developed by the 18 member schools to help ensure that participants, staff, and spectators can safely enjoy both sports in a manner that promotes social distancing.

    1. Roster limits (players and coaches) at all levels are set at 28.

    2. Schools will distribute two (2) tickets per player in uniform and two (2) per coach at each level to be used at that level throughout the season. This ticket will allow the ticket holder to pay admission or use a school specific pass to gain entrance for the contest. The ticket only allows an individual to purchase admission and has no cash value and may only be used at the venue and event listed (i.e. varsity baseball tickets may only be used at the baseball field for the varsity contest).

    3. This ticket will ensure that the individual may purchase admission up until the conclusion of the first game of a doubleheader at the same level. In events featuring a doubleheader at the same level (varsity baseball, varsity softball, 10t h baseball, 9t h baseball, and 9t h softball), individual schools may allow additional persons to pay admission if space allows after the conclusion of the first game at their discretion.

    4. In combined events (JV/Varsity), the venue will be emptied after the first game. Individuals holding a ticket to pay for admission for both contests will only be required to pay one time.

    5. Individual schools are responsible for communicating their seating availability and social distancing plan for each venue. At all venues, individual family household units (2 people) are encouraged to sit together to help with overall capacity. Fans are encouraged to bring their own chairs in the event the bleachers meet capacity.

*Mason City will have an additional 38 seats in softball and an additional 48 seats in baseball at the conclusion of the first game and prior to the start of the second game. These seats are available to anyone on a first come, first serve basis. Please understand you may need to stand or bring your own chair for seating.

    6. Ticket gates will open 30 minutes prior to the start of the contest.

    7. Admission for all regular season contests is as follows: Varsity Baseball / Softball $5.00

JV Baseball / Softball when combined with Varsity $5.00
Lower Level contests (9t h, 10t h, JV when not with Varsity) $4.00 Exact change is appreciated at all locations.
*Mason City will not be charging an admission price at home events.

    8. Concessions will not be offered at venues with the exception of Harlan Rogers Park. Coolers will be allowed to be brought in for individual use except at Harlan Rogers Park and are subject to inspection.

9.. Individual schools may require additional measures be taken and those will be posted and communicated in advance. Spectators attending games at Des Moines Public School venues (East, Hoover, North, Lincoln, Roosevelt) are required to wear a mask.

    10. The CIML will continue to monitor, update, and communicate our information and procedures to keep everyone as safe as possible.
For more information, contact Tom Kinseth, Commissioner of the CIML at (515) 571-8980

Mason City offers guidance on park usage:

The playground equipment and shelter houses at all Mason City Parks are reopened for public usage. City staff is in the process of opening park facilities.

As we still need to be cautious about the COVID-19 pandemic, safety warning signage is placed around the parks and at playground areas as a reminder. The park equipment is not sanitized and patrons use the playground and other park facilities at your own risk.

While visiting any public space, use your best judgment and act responsibly.
Bring your own hand sanitizer supplies with you and use regularly
Adhere to the recommended guidelines of observing social distancing standards of staying at least 6 feet from others
If you or a family member does not feel well or have been sick, please stay home Wash your hands with soap and water after activity

Residents are asked to do their part to keep family, friends, neighbors and our community safe. Continue to enjoy our City parks and trails for recreational purposes – the City’s priority is protecting the health and safety of our residents and continuing to serve you.
