MASON CITY – Two men were jailed this weekend on drug charges after a traffic stop by the Iowa State Patrol.
Just before midnight on Saturday, January 10, the Iowa State Patrol conducted a traffic stop at Orchid Avenue and 300th Street. After an investigation, two Osage men were arrested on undisclosed narcotics violations.
Arrested were Jeffery Alan Morrison, age 26 and Daniel Wayne Duryee, age 17. They were escorted to the county jail by a Cerro Gordo deputy, booked and soon released pending court dates.
