SAC COUNTY, IOWA – A fatal accident took the loves of two teens Saturday morning in rural Sac county.
According to a report from the Iowa State Patrol, a Chevy Impala driven by 16-year-old Bailey Jacobsen of Wall Lake was northbound on Birch Avenue as a Dodge Ram pickup driven by 17-year-old Trevor Feauto was westbound on 400th Street when the pickup collided with the passenger side of the Impala. The pickup landed on it side in the north ditch of intersection, while the impala landed in a beanfield northwest of the collision.
Feauto and other passengers in the pickup were later located at a residence west of the collision site.
Bailey Jacobsen and Lindsey Quick, age 16 of Wall Lake, died in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
