SAC CITY, IOWA – Police were called to investigate after a Northern Iowa elementary school was threatened by a student.
On February 10, 2023, the Sac City Police Department was contacted by the East Sac County Elementary School in Sac City, Iowa, for a possible threat made by a student. During the course of an investigation, it was determined the threat was not credible. The Sac City Police Department and East Sac County Consolidation say they are working in close collaboration to ensure the safety of staff and students.
There is no ongoing threat to the public and the investigation is still ongoing, police disclosed. There were no details on the student who allegedly made the threat.
