IOWA CITY – Iowa has a chance for some revenge Saturday against a surging Wisconsin team that beat them earlier this season.
After a week off due to a faulty arena in Indiana, Iowa will take the court against #16 Wisconsin, one notch below #15 Iowa and now just a game back in the loss column to Iowa in the Big Ten race. Iowa will need to win the game to keep its third-place standing and stay just a game behind the leaders, Michigan and Michigan State.
Iowa (19-6, 8-4) lost in Madison earlier this season, 75-71 on January 5. Wisconsin (21-5, 8-5) has won the last two games against Iowa, while Iowa has won 3 of the last 5.
Wisconsin is lead by former Iowan Ben Brust with 13 points per game and 90% free throw shooting.
