AMES, Iowa – The No. 11 Iowa State women’s basketball team (13-0, 2-0 Big 12) squares off with Texas Tech (6-7, 0-2 Big 12) on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Hilton Coliseum ISU’s Big 12 home opener. The Cyclones are fresh off a two-game road swing to open conference play, in which they set the school record for best start in program history with a 13-0 record.
Iowa State’s projected starting lineup will be Hallie Christofferson, Brynn Williamson, Nikki Moody, Jadda Buckley and Seanna Johnson. The Cyclone starting lineup has taken on the bulk of the scoring, as the five starters are responsible for 78 percent of the Cyclones’ points this season. The starters also account for 61.1 percent of the team’s rebounding.
Iowa State debuted at seventh in the first RPI rankings of the season. The Cyclones are the highest rated team in the Big 12.
