MASON CITY – Sophomores Lexy Nodtvedt and Melissa Bisbee have been selected as captains for the NIACC volleyball team.
Nodtvedt (Manly, Ia.) led the Lady Trojans with 181 kills during her freshman season. Nodtvedt also had 82 diges, 45 blocks and 19 ace serves.
Bisbee (Stacyville, Ia.) collected 113 kills as a freshman. She also had 243 digs, 29 blocks and 17 ace serves.
NIACC opens its season Friday at the St. Cloud Technical and Community College Tournament Friday and Saturday. The Lady Trojans play Dakota County Technical College at 4 p.m. Friday and St. Cloud Technical and Community College at 6 p.m. Friday.
