Pyongyang (KCNA) — Meetings took place in Mexico, India and Myanmar between July 25 and 27 on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the victory of the Korean people in the Fatherland Liberation War, the Korean Central News Agency reported this week.
Displayed in the venues of the meetings were photos documenting the immortal exploits President Kim Il Sung performed by winning the victory in the war and the feats leader Kim Jong Il performed in the Songun leadership and revolutionary activities of supreme leader Kim Jong Un.
Also on display were books including works of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu and photos showing the successes achieved by the Korean people in the building of a thriving socialist nation.
Present there were figures of political and social circles and masses of the relevant countries.
Jesus Antonio Carlos Hernandez, general secretary of the Central Committee of the People’s Socialist Party of Mexico, said that Kim Il Sung was an invincible and iron-willed commander who led the Fatherland Liberation War to the victory to humble the U.S. imperialists and defended the independence and sovereignty of the DPRK.
Speakers including a secretary of the Indian National Congress Party and D. Raja, secretary of the National Council of the Communist Party of India, praised Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for performing the undying exploits by winning the victory in the war and the Songun leadership feats.
Tin Tun, director of the Myanmar Medical Research Institute, expressed belief that the Korean people would surely emerge victorious in building a thriving nation and reunifying the country under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.
A resolution was adopted at the meeting in India.
It praised Kim Il Sung for defeating the U.S. and Japanese imperialists in one generation and Kim Jong Il for building an invincible political, ideological and military power and reaffirmed the support to the Korean people in their struggle for defending socialism and reunifying the country.
