MASON CITY – Authorities responded to a man found dead in a restaurant parking loton Sunday morning.
According to police, on Sunday, July 21st, 2013 at 8:40 AM, the Mason City Police Department received a report of a subject down in the parking lot of PaPa’s restaurant. The subject, Brian J. Bode, age 45 years of Mason City, was found deceased. After the preliminary investigation it appears Mr. Bode died of natural causes. The Medical Examiner’s office planned a autopsy later Sunday.
