WASHINGTON, June 17 (UPI) — Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin criticized President Barack Obama’s decision to arm rebels in Syria, and said the United States should “let Allah sort it out.”
“Militarily, where is our commander in chief? We’re talking now more new interventions … I say until we have someone who knows what they’re doing, I say let Allah sort it out,” Palin said at the Faith and Freedom Coalition Conference in Washington, D.C. Saturday.
Her comments come after the White House announced that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s regime has used chemical weapons and that the Obama administration will provide more direct support to the opposition.
Palin also commented on the recent Internal Revenue Service and National Security Agency scandals, ABC News said.
She warned that the recent incidents are a sign of tyranny in the U.S. government.

Oh and stop buying anything made with plastic…
Good post, Peter. It’s way past time to get away from oil.
I’ll add this: If Obama gets us involved in another war, I will no longer support him. We can’t save EVERYBODY!
Ya, Sara Palin is a real expert…rolls eyes. She’s a housewife acting like a world leader, what a joke. She proved when running that she was clueless about world affairs. That she was simply a housewife over her head. She’s not an expert on anything except having lots of sex like her daughter.
Here’s a fact Jack, regardless of your opinion…she’s doin better than YOU huh?! Lol.
are you playing with a full deck?
Amen, Sarah!!
I never thought that I’d say this, but I agree with Mrs. Palin.
As a Viet Nam vet I learned a great deal about how to win a war when I read “Ho Chi Mihn’s war manual. He was North Viet Nams leader.
He wrote, “Breaking the will” of your opponent is most important. There is more then one way to do that. Ho Chi Minh could not win against the western world military might but he did win by breaking America’s will. He did that using our own bleeding heart attitudes against us. And it worked!!
Reading the history of wars over the centuries on thing sticks out, plain and clear.
As sad as it is, most wars only come to an end when “civilian” populations are slaughtered and the remaining civilians remove there own leadership with rational thinkers.
It would be nice to think we could break the will of the Arab World using Ho Chi Minh’s concept, but it is doubtful that is going to happen.
Only when the people living under the tyranny of Islamic rule tire of living under evil religious submission will we see change in the Muslim world.
It is my belief that when the civilians in the Arab World remove their religious leaders, the “Ayatollahs”, only then will the Muslim insanity stop!
Again, until then, Sarah Palin is right.
“Either way we are faced with picking winners and losers between out of a basket of snakes – all filled with various levels of Islamic venom.”
Boy, that is the best description of the Middle East that I have heard yet. We can’t win because they hate each other and they hate us most of all. They will gang up TOGETHER to get US.
We understand enough about their culture to know they want to kill anyone who don’t believe in their religion.
We also know that Islam wants to take over the world and impose “Sharia Law”.
We know that you have to be insane to strap a bomb on yourself to kill others in the name of Allah.
We know that Islam believes you get 77 voluptuous virgins in Paradise if you martyr yourself killing others. How nuts is that?
We know that the Koran was written 650 years after the death of Jesus Christ, and the “so called” profit Mohammad copied a large part of the New Testament when he wrote the Koran.
We know that the Arab world governs themselves using religion and the Koran. This is why they are referred to as the “Arab” world.
We actually know a lot more about their culture than we realize.
What we don’t know is, how to deal with these Muslim nutcases.
Why, because we have a bunch of bleeding hearts running this country that don’t want to hurt their feelings. This notion is disguised under the heading of “Political Correctness”.
Until we have better leadership, I KNOW that Sarah Palin is right on!
I do agree, we should stay out of it.
There is something to what she says here. These people have been fighting and killing each other for hundreds of years. We don’t fully understand their culture and maybe we should just stay out it.
Maybe HER god should do something about it?
Gee anonymous, it sounds like you and your family want to volunteer your time and money on people who hate us. Palin is right. Stay out of there. We shouldn’t be sucked into another thankless expenditure of lives and funds.
Already served in the military. You’re welcome.
Unless I missed it, has there been any conclusive evidence, other then what our government says, that Syria has used chemical weapons. Or are we entering another ungodly war under false pretense like we did in Iraq. Tyranny in our government has been sneaking up on us for a long time.
I presume all wars are “ungodly” in the sense that god is one of forgiveness & kindness. Iraq was not false pretense but an intelligence “mistake” if one assumes WMD’s were never there (probably removed to Syria).
What is truly odd is that Obama wants to arm the “rebels” who very likely come from outside Syria (Hezbollah &/or al-Qaeda, etc.) against a tyrant (Assad) in hopes of currying favor or filling some perceived political vacuum.
Either way we are faced with picking winners and losers between out of a basket of snakes – all filled with various levels of Islamic venom.
The tyranny in our government comes from the knuckle-headed idea that we cannot target certain known groups from which terror emanates – so we do not surveil mosques but average Americans. This is politically correct tyranny & stupidity.
