MASON CITY – Elmwood-St. Joseph Municipal Cemetery will be holding their Spring Kickoff for volunteers in their Adopt a Section, Sentry, Gravestone Preservation and History Walk programs on Thursday, April 25th at 2:30 PM in the Mason City Room at the Mason City Public Library.
Information will be presented on the new Cemetery Serenity Walks, ESJ Family & Friends group and the projects to be completed in 2013.
People interested in getting involved in any of these programs are encouraged to come to the meeting to learn more. The beauty, serenity and history within the Cemetery grounds make these volunteer opportunities very enjoyable.
