NIACC baseball/softball postponed today

MASON CITY – The No. 19 NIACC baseball team’s doubleheader scheduled for today against Dakota County Technical College has been postponed due to the rain.

The makeup date is set for April 29. The first game will starts at 4 p.m.

NIACC (16-6 overall, 8-4 in the ICCAC) is scheduled to host Southeastern (24-12, 8-4) Saturday and Sunday in a 4-game, ICCAC series. The first game on Saturday is set for 2 p.m. and Sunday’s twinbill starts at 1 p.m.

Also, the NIACC softball team’s doubleheader at Iowa Lakes scheduled for today has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The ICCAC twinbill will be made up on April 29. The first game starts at 3:30 p.m.

NIACC (7-11, 2-8) is scheduled to return to action Saturday and Sunday at home with doubleheaders against Southwestern (15-9, 8-6) and No. 6 Kirkwood (32-3, 12-0), respectively. Games both days start at 1 p.m.
