DORAL, Fla., March 10 (UPI) — Tiger Woods wrapped up his seventh career WGC-Cadillac Championship victory Sunday despite stumbling a bit down the stretch, posting a two-stroke win.
Wood, who led by as many five strokes in the final round, bogeyed two of the last three holes but still had enough of a cushion to claim the victory with a 1-under 71.
He finished 72 holes at 19-under-par 269 for his 17th triumph in a World Golf Championship event.
Steve Stricker grabbed sole possession of second place a 4-under 68, ending at 17-under 271.
Sharing third place at minus-14 were Graeme McDowell (72), Sergio Garcia (69), Phil Mickelson (71) and Adam Scott (64).
