Tehran (dpa) – A total of 14 convicted drug traffickers were hanged on Monday in the Iranian capital of Tehran, the ISNA news agency reported.
The men were hanged in an unnamed prison in Tehran after their death verdicts had been confirmed by the Supreme Court, ISNA said.
Murder, rape, armed robbery and trafficking more than five kilograms of drugs are among crimes punishable by death in Iran.
