I heard this morning that Walmart is dropping health insurance for 30,000 part time workers. The full time people who are left are getting their premiums raised. This is a direct result of Obamacare. So much for the Great Liar in Chief in the White House saying cost are going down. Even communist Minnesota has a 4 1/2% increase. It is just getting started.

A waste of time and money. Soon all of the poles that hold up that structure will collapse because the part that’s in the ground has rotted away. If you dig down in the wood chips you’ll find rotten moldy wood. That surely can’t be good for your health.

@annamae-MaryBeth said nothing wrong and attacked no one. She is entitled to her opinion and is merely asking for discussion to get it right. I am in full agreement that these people need to be taken off our streets. I know a young man who has had his car hit twice by unlicensed, uninsured people who should not have been driving. It cost him over $1000 that he couldn’t afford. He works two jobs and has insurance.
Thanks LVS! I am sorry for your pain annamae. I did not say that it was not a good idea. I was stating that before you put a policy in place, it needs to be discussed and have all the details and procedures in place, so each incident will be handled consistently and properly. I get it.. it is a travesty the way these people break the law and drive with no license, drive while barred, drive while drunk, etc.I am well aware of people that do this all of the time and never get picked up!
My only concern about the impounding issue is the dynamics of the presentation. Officer Kemna brings it forward and Chief Lashbrook has concerns about how it will be implemented. Since my dad was Chief of Police for years here in MC, I think the idea should be discussed with the Chief and have all the details, policies and procedures worked out before it is brought to the public by an Officer. That just seems to make more sense to me.

@newman-Some people think they are just kids messing around. Wait until you have to pay $2,000 because some people can’t control their kids. A good spanking goes a long ways. Either that or find the parents and make them pay to repaint your car.
