Feb. 05–Presidential candidate Rick Santorum plans to attend a pancake breakfast today before visiting Bemidji Woolen Mills and giving a campaign speech.
According Santorum’s campaign, the former Pennsylvania senator will visit the St. Philip’s Catholic Church pancake breakfast at 12:30 this afternoon.
He will tour Bemidji Woolen Mills, manufacturer for the candidate’s official sweater vest, at 1 and attend a rally at 2:30 in the Sanford Center, with doors opening to the public at 2 p.m.
Santorum, who won the Iowa caucus last month and finished third in Florida’s primary this week, also is expected to tour Cool Threads, which is embroidering sweater vests for supporters donating more than $100, and pose for a community photo at the Paul and Babe statues before the rally. Anyone interested in being in the photo should be at the lakefront at 2 p.m.
Before visiting Bemidji, Santorum’s campaign said the candidate plans to attend Grace Church in Eden Prairie, Minn. Santorum also is scheduled as the special guest at a “Super Santorum Sunday” party in Lake Waconia, Minn., in the evening.
