ROSEMOUNT, Minn. – #17 Dakota County dropped the NIACC men’s basketball team 98-95 in overtime on Thursday night in a non-conference matchup.
The Trojans came back from 10 points down with three minutes left in the second half. Chris Davis (Fr., Colorado Springs, CO) made the game tying three-pointer with 0.2 seconds remaining in regulation.
NIACC had a pair of players reach career highs. Dominique Wright (Fr., Colorado Springs, CO) scored 22 points and Dejoni Norris (Fr., Waterloo, IA) added 19. Kendale Dunn (So., Cleveland, OH) had 17 points.
Dakota County won the earlier matchup between these two schools on November 11, 89-78.
NIACC will return to conference action on Saturday when they host Iowa Lakes at 3 p.m.
