MASON CITY – Michael Patrick Reich was transported from Fort Dodge Men’s Correctional Facility, where he is serving five years for burglarizing Stebens Children’s Theater, to face sentencing for more crimes in the town he has criminally victimized since a juvenile.
On Tuesday, January 17th, Judge Colleen Weiland sentenced Reich up to five more years in prison for another 3rd degree burglary he committed in Mason City at residence on May 27th of 2011. Judge Colleen Weiland then sentenced Reich up to two more years in prison for eluding Mason City Police on public streets on August 6th, 2011. The two years is to be served consecutive (after) the five year burglary sentence.
In addition Judge Colleen Weiland sentenced Reich up to one year in prison to run concurrently with his other sentences for a domestic abuse assault causing injury he committed on August 20, 2011.
Judge Colleen Weiland’s sentencing was a result of Michael Reich’s extensive criminal and often violent offenses against many victims. Reich has been charged or implicated with numerous burglaries, robbery, willful injury, multiple assaults, multiple domestic assaults, harassment, escape, numerous probation violations, and various other crimes in the last 5 years.

Zeeman, You forgot about Flores, Hadacek, Huerta, Jones, Smith, I could go on. Basicly if they would ship about 50 people to jail we wouldn’t need but one police officer in the entire town.
