AMES, Iowa – Dec. 27, 2011 – The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) will hold a public information meeting Thursday, Jan. 12, to discuss the proposed improvements of Interstate 35 from the Skunk River bridges north to 13th Street in Ames and U.S. 30 from the Skunk River east to Sixth Street in Nevada
The public is invited to attend the meeting anytime between 5 and 7 p.m. at Campus Baptist Church, 57011 U.S. 30, in Ames.
All interested persons are invited to attend this meeting to discuss the proposed improvement of the I-35/U.S. 30 interchange, proposed replacement of the I-35 Skunk River bridges, and a corridor study for U.S. 30 between Ames and Nevada.
This public information meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. Iowa DOT staff will be present to informally discuss the proposed improvements. No formal presentation will be made.
