Beginning Monday, August 15, 2011 at 7:00 a.m., the Mason City Utility Division will begin Water System repairs at Highway 122 and South Pennsylvania Avenue.
U.S. Highway 122 will be reduced to one lane traffic westbound between South Jersey Avenue and South Delaware Avenue. South Pennsylvania Avenue will be closed between 5th Street SE and 6th Street SE.
The projected time for repairs is expected to be approximately 3 to 4 days.
Expect congestion and delays around this area while the street is under construction. Please watch for construction workers and equipment if you are traveling near the work zone.
