The on-going Main Street Market, held every Saturday this summer in Central Park in Mason City, added yoga and live music this weekend. The Main Street Market offers locally grown produce, plants, flowers and fresh baked goods.
At Saturday’s Main Street Market, music was provided by Michael Betz. Michael, who just graduated from High School, was doing a fine job entertaining on the piano/organ.
In the middle of Central Park, there was a fitness class Saturday. “This is the first Saturday that we partnered up with 360 Fitness and had Laura Jumper for Zumba doing yoga. We’ll have some sort of fitness class each Saturday for the rest of August and into September,” explained Liz Fitzgerald, Treasurer. Liz works with downtown businesses and helps coordinate the Main Street Market and Farmers Market.
The Main Street Market is held each Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
