Supporting the annual Band Fest event cost the city of Mason City $13,889.55 in wages to city employees, according to a memo to the Mayor and City Council from City Administrator Brent Trout.
The overtime costs totaled $8,781.17.
The Police Department had 176 hours of overtime wages which cost $6,593.09.|
