MASON CITY – Witnesses tell NorthIowaToday.com that an intoxicated man, whose name they say is Yann Lem, tried jumping from his girlfriend’s moving car Saturday night. The incident happened at the corner of North Monroe and Seventh Street NW at 8:29 PM.
The man was arrested and taken to jail. There was no word on whether he was injured in the incident.
According to records, Lem has had 5 consumption convictions since 2006, the last one in Worth County this past January. Lem has also previously been charged with a domestic assault, an OWI 1st offense, and a supplying person underage alcohol offense.
