About 4 inches of the beautiful but wet and heavy white stuff fell by mid-morning. Snow was expected to end by mid-afternoon, with a high of 32 and wind gusts of up to 25 p.m. The low Wednesday night was expected to be 23, while Thursday was expected to be mostly sunny with a high near 35 and winds 7 to 10 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
