Mason City police officers responded to a report of a suspicious male in the area of 14th and South Carolina Avenue at 2:21 AM. During a check of the area officers spotted a subject inside the Alliant Energy compound in the 600 block of 15th Street SE. The subject ran from the compound and as apprehended a few blocks away.
George Lynn Perry Jr. (39) of Mason City was jailed on two counts of trespass, a simple misdemeanor. The additional charge was filed due to Perry trespassing on Union PAcific railroad property as he fled the scene.|
