MASON CITY – A Mason City man was caught drunk driving Saturday night.
A Cerro Gordo county deputy stopped a vehicle after a traffic complaint at about 7:04 PM near 4th Street SW and Grover Avenue. After an investigation, the driver, 61-year-old David Vaughn Escher, was arrested for first-offense operating while intoxicated.
Escher was taken to the county jail and soon released, pending a court date.
