MASON CITY – Police responded to a rental house on North Monroe Avenue Monday evening after a report of an assault.
Mason City police were called to 21 North Monroe Avenue on Monday, March 30 at about 8:45 PM after an assault was reported. After an investigation, police arrested 21-year-old Andrew Peter Stineman.
Stineman, who lives in a North End apartment, was taken to the county jail and booked on a charge of felony willful injury. A judge imposed a no-contact order between Stineman and his alleged victim. He awaits a court hearing on April 17.
Stineman is currently on probation out of Polk county on a first degree harassment case in which he received a deferred judgement in 2013 and was put on probation for 2 years and was to undergo psychiatric evaluation and treatment.
