NEW HAMPTON, IOWA – A Fredericksburg couple now awaits sentencing after a methamphetamine investigation and guilty pleas.
According to the Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Department, on February 24, 2015, 58-year-old Dale Liddle, and 59-year-old Judy Liddle of Fredericksburg, Iowa entered guilty pleas to criminal charges stemming from a methamphetamine investigation within the city of Fredericksburg. The criminal case was investigated by the Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Office and several other agencies, including the Northeast Iowa Drug Taskforce and the Iowa Department of Narcotics Enforcement (DNE).
Dale Liddle pled guilty to one count of Manufacturing Methamphetamine 124(5)(c), a Class C Felony and two counts of Possession of a Precursor, a Class D Felony (124.401(4)(b).
Judy Liddle pled guilty to one count of Aiding and Abetting Manufacture of Methamphetamine, 124.401(5)(c) a Class C Felony and two counts of Possession of a Precursor, a Class D Felony 124.401(4)(b).
The pleas were accepted by the Honorable District Court Judge, Richard Stochl. The case was prosecuted by the Chickasaw County Attorney’s Office.
An Iowa Department of Corrections pre-sentence investigation was ordered and will be presented to the court within six weeks.
