MASON CITY – A North Iowa woman who was charged last year with endangering children as she drove drunk – but later beat all but one of the charges – is now in jail for violating terms of her probation.
Angela Marie Honebrink, 24, beat an operating while intoxicated charge and one count of child endangerment last November when she agreed to plead guilty to one count of child endangerment with no injury. She was given a 365 day sentence of probation after pleading guilty to one count of child endangerment. A $625.oo fine was throw out as well as 335 days of a 365 day jail sentence. Honebrink paid $177.10 in court costs.
Honebrink had been stopped by a Cerro Gordo County deputy on August 17th, 2012, after a report of a domestic situation at 15448 300th Court in rural Mason City. She was pulled over and arrested by the deputy. Records show that the deputy later administered a breathalyzer test to a female inmate at the Cerro Gordo County Jail and that female – the only one given a test that day – blew 0.097 and 0.097 in two tests. The records do now show the woman’s name. In Iowa, the legal limit to drive after consuming alcohol is 0.08.
A warrant for Honebrink’s arrest was issued on October 16th, 2013 by judge Annette Boehlje and she was brough tto jail at about 2:27 AM Tuesday morning.
Honebrink is now in the Cerro GOrdo County Jail on $1,000 cash-only bond. She will face a probation revocation hearing Wednesday at 2 PM.

Well I can say this, if you see this bitch driving, please call 911. Drunk with a innocent child in the car is inexcusable. The ugly drunk needs to go to jail to keep innocent people safe! No more deals and lazy, fat probation officer who can’t do their jobs! Please call the police anytime you see her driving, you might save a life. Dumb drunk driving, ugly, child endangering drunk!
She’s still living the same life as before! Hasn’t learned from her mistakes and brags about her arrests and how she gets away with so much because of her cute face. She is a disgrace to all mothers I would never get behind the wheel drunk with my children in the car, let alone be drunk around my children. Meth and drinking is something she has openingly admitted she will never quit because she likes it. She is a sociopath and knows how to play people. Hope she never gets her kids back.

Keep digging Matt she had to be arrested 5 times in Worth County before her probation officer got off his ass.
She DID beat the OWI charge as she only pled guilty to one charge of child endangerment and got the other two charges dropped in a deal. She was on probation for child endangerment, not OWI.
So, you are saying the deal she made was invalid, that the county didn’t receive any consideration?
That’s ridiculous and just plain incorrect.
I’m saying she got off easy and this OWI proves that she’s a leopard. The people got cheated because a person who drove drunk and got caught once was let off on an OWI charge to turn around and do it again. DA’s and judges never learn.
How do you know that? Often charges are dropped and deals are made because the county lacks proof and evidence. Everyone is not guilty of a crime simply because they are charged. This little thing called the constitution comes into play sometimes.
And if you have a problem with that move a country without the US constitution.
