Tip helps cops catch woman with drug paraphernalia

MASON CITY – A citizen complaint led police to arrest a woman in an area of Mason City known for drug activity.

Cerro Gordo deputies and Mason City police received a complaint on the evening of June 17th at about 9:00 PM of “drug activity” in a vehicle near the area of Monroe Avenue and 3rd Street NW. Officers from both agencies responded and located Heather Lynn Graves in a car. They determined she was in possession of drug paraphernalia and had no insurance and placed her under arrest. Her vehicle was impounded.

The area of State Street and Monroe Avenue has seen a number of arrests in recent months for drug activity.
