Mason City man arrested after going berserk in hotel room

MASON CITY – A Mason City man plead guilty to a charge of public intoxication after police responded to a local hotel with an out of control subject.

Tyler James Trappe, age 22, was arrested and jailed after Mason City police were called to the Holiday Inn Express hotel, located at 3041 4th Street SW, on Friday morning at about 3:00 AM. Police responded after a call alerting them to an out of control subject who turned out to be Trappe. A source told NIT that “a lot of damage” was done and someone who was at the room may have suffered an injury.

Trappe was charged with public intoxication and immediately plead guilty. He was fined and charged court costs totaling $330.00.

On January 6, 2014, a substance abuse interpretive summary of Trappe was filed in Cerro Gordo county district court by Prairie Ridge Addiction Treatment facility, connected to a case where Trappe was charged with felony burglary and felony criminal mischief.

What a wonderful substance alcohol is. It has such promise for the human race. (deep sarcasm)

This human is struggling with unresolved mind-body-familial-societal issues, and turned to the legal poison before him for answers, and was met with the same reaction millions of others were met with: rage, inebriation, destruction, sickness, legal liability.

Instead of getting in tune with these issues to help work through them, they are all washed down the alcohol drain. He will then meet the Christian Soldier’s Punishment for little sinners who tip too much of the devil’s poison: Wake up on a stone cold hard floor, with white lights and white cinder block walls…a drain for a urinal. And a bunch of Christian soldiers peering in to see if the sinner is ready to go before the Master Magistrate.

Onward Christian Soldiers with your plan for redemption of God’s children. Your formula is working so well!

North Iowa Formula for Redemption:

First 18 years of Abuse, then Frustration, then Intoxication, then Arrest, then Jesus!

Congratulations Tyler…you made it through the first 4 stages of North Iowa’s Redemption Plan. Only one more to go. You can do it buddy. Get down on your knees and wait for Christ to enter your heart. Grind your teeth. You can do it man. We’re counting on you. Go lift weights until Jesus enters.
