Josh Roenicke and Jared Burton each fired one frame of shutout relief and Glen Perkins picked up his seventh save despite allowing a homer to Carlos Santana in the ninth inning.

Trevor Plouffe socked a two-run homer while Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau each drove in a run for the Twins, who took the finale of a three-game series.

Tribe starter Corey Kluber (2-1) was touched for three runs on five hits over 5 2/3 innings as Cleveland saw its five-game winning streak snapped.
