AMES – Iowa State jumped out to a commanding 38-17 halftime lead in trouncing North Carolina A&T 86-57 Tuesday night at Hilton Coliseum.
Tyrus McGee lead the Cyclones with 16 points as Iowa State improved to 4-0. Georges Niang added 14 points for ISU.
Iowa State shot 46% from the field for the game while holding A&T to just 29.7%.
Iowa State plays nationally-ranked Cincinnati Friday in Las Vegas.
