MASON CITY – Beginning the week of October 8th, 2012, the Mason City Street Division will begin trimming trees located in the city right-of-way between the curb and the sidewalk. Trees will be trimmed for street and sidewalk clearance and also trimmed for deadwood. Trees that look diseased or dead will be scheduled for removal.
The trim area will be the Country Club Drive and Augusta Drive area south of 19th Street SW.
Please be prepared for lane closures and traffic delays in the area of the trimming crew. Please slow down and be cautious of construction workers and equipment when traveling in the work zone.
