Today at the Iowa State Fair, Congressman Paul Ryan made his first solo campaign stop as the GOP Vice Presidential nominee, speaking at the Des Moines Register ‘soapbox.’
Unfortunately for Iowans, Ryan was not forthcoming in his answers to repeated questions from those in attendance or the press.
According to a report from BuzzFeed Politics, Ryan spoke for just 13 minutes (the typical soapbox speech is 20 minutes). And he did not take any questions from the audience.
As Ryan left the fair, reporters continued to ask questions, about Medicare, Iowa’s drought, and the campaign.
Ryan’s only response to the press and the crowd was “we can play stump the running mate later.”
After making his way to the car to exit the fair, Ryan faced questions about his tax returns, a topic that has dogged Mitt Romney throughout the campaign. Ryan again ignored the questions from the crowd, and left the fair leaving Iowans with more questions than answers.

This guy might turn me back to my Catholic roots – where I would join those who, btw, are against his “cruel” budget proposals. I agree with the Catholics. I love the Catholics and hate this guy.

ProgressIowa.Org that it is a subversive organization with ties to Agenda21.
Agenda21 is a left wing liberal organization that wants to make America a Socialist/Communist country and funded by George Soros.
In the last 15 years the Democratic Party has overwhelmingly endorsed the Agenda21 principles.
Nothing that ProgressIowa.Org puts out will be factual. They work very hard at distorting the truth. The fact that they are anti Romney/Ryan is to be expected by this wing of the Democratic Party.
It would be great if more people would do research and expose their constant lying in the media that they do.
Pay them no mind and write off these articles as propaganda.

He didn’t leave Iowans with more questions than answers, he left reporters from ProgressIowa.org with questions because he knew they wouldn’t like the answers he gave them any way.
Matt, does this group pay you to print their articles?

Truthfully, it probably showed up in Matt’s email in-box, and it’s content he doesn’t have pay for or work to hard to put up – so he does. Even if it’s from a bunch of loons.
I run ProgressIowa.org’s articles because they seem to be endorsed by the Democratic Party in Iowa. NIT does not endorse ProgressIowa.org, nor necessarily support any of their viewpoints, but it creates a good debate point here where people can air out their concerns. I just had to know if this organization actually paid websites and blogs to print their articles or not. I really had no idea. I mean, apparently the GG thinks that NIT and the Hampton paper are in cahoots.
