Iowa man sought by cops after busting into house for robbery

MAYNARD, IOWA – An Iowa man is on the run after busting into a house early Friday morning for a robbery.

On April 7, 2017 at 4:54 AM, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office took a 911 of an assault at a home in the city of Maynard. Once Deputies arrived on scene it was discovered that a robbery had taken place. Upon investigation it was discovered that Scott Orlo Peska, age 42 of Marengo went to a residence and entered it without permission. After a struggle, Peska stole the victims cell phone. During the altercation the victim sustained an injury to her hand but required no medical attention. Peska then left the residence and was unable to be located.

The following charges were filed on Peska: Robbery in the second degree, a class “C” felony, criminal trespassing, a misdemeanor and driving while barred, an aggravated misdemeanor.

Warrants for his arrest have been sought by police. Anyone with information oj his whereabouts should contact their local police.
