Mason City man jailed after domestic incident

MASON CITY – A Mason City man was jailed after a domestic assault incident Sunday morning.

Mason City police were called to 21 21st Street SE at about 5:08 AM after a domestic incident was reported. Officers arrived and after an investigation, arrested 29-year-old Jacob Douglas Fesko on a charge of domestic abuse assault involving strangulation.

Fesko was taken to the county jail where he was held and released later Sunday, pending a court date.  He was guilty of assault causing bodily injury back in 2013 after an arrest by Mason City police.  He was sent to jail for 30 days and fined.

Fesko was sent to prison back in 2013 after a conviction for third-offense operating while intoxicated.  He later lost an appeal in that case.

There seems to be a pattern here in cerro gordo county, get busted. get probation, break probation got to jail/prison, get out fu*k up again got to jail, bail out but have no money to pay previous fines, go to court and get a slap on your worthless wrist. What an asset to our sweet town.
