MASON CITY – A Central Iowa woman was taken to jail after law enforcement discovered her vehicle in a snowbank outside Mason City.
A Cerro Gordo deputy found a car stuck in a snowbank at about 3 AM Saturday morning, January 2, near the 4000 block of 19th Street SW. After an investigation, the driver of the vehicle, 32-year-old Emily Beth Dyvig of Ankeny was arrested on charges of operating while intoxicated and no registration.
A passenger, 29-year-old Tyler Layne Baker of Webster City, was arrested for public intoxication.
Both were jailed and soon released pending court dates.
