PESHAWAR, PAKISTAN – Reports have surfaced that Taliban terrorists entered a school in Pakistan and murdered over 140 people, most of them children.
According to U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, “In Pakistan, more than 100 children were massacred at their desks by Taliban terrorists who wanted to inflict the maximum pain on the civilian population.”
The BBC reported that “Bodies have been carried out of hospitals in coffins, escorted by crowds of mourners, some of them wracked by tears.”
“These attacks may be distant on a map, but should be at the forefront of our minds. Terrorism knows no borders,” Cruz continued. “And, strong American resolve is needed to help our friends and allies around the world to stop it.”
The U.S. Department of Defense issued a statement:
“… extend our deepest condolences to the people of Pakistan following today’s ruthless attack on the army public school in Peshawar. This heartless slaughter of over 100 innocent students and teachers was an act of pure cowardice. The United States remains committed to supporting Pakistan in its efforts to combat extremism and ensure stability in the region. As we stand firm with the Pakistani people and military in their fight against terrorists, we also honor their sacrifices, and join the victims’ families and loved ones in their mourning.”
There were 9 terrorists involved, and all have been killed.
We need to stop supporting all these countries and take care of our selves. Cover our own a,, es and keep our noses out of theyre crap. We give all this money over seas but we need it here. Feed ourselves before we feed them.
I agree with you. This has been a failed policy of appeasement, trying to buy off foreign governments to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars. Giving away military secrets and technology, and using foreign military to fight proxy wars are fundamentally flawed US policy blunders that continue to this day. Ron Paul ultimately is correct, and it’s extremely difficult to carve through the Israel quagmire to understand that point. They should have built it in Texas.
As a person who takes care of children, this sickens me to the most extreme level. However, when I read that it was an Army school, my sympathy dampens just a bit…not for the children, but because the damn parents involved with political bullshit by being part of the Pakistan Army (which is corrupt and abusive). The adults in that region all need to be bitch slapped in the most extreme way. Both Taliban and Pakistani Military alike are guilty for this abhorrent crime. Disgusting

However it gets complicated when the morals and ethics of the Pakistani military aren’t much better than the Taliban themselves. So who has the high ground? No one really, and so the children suffer. It’s terrible on a lot of levels. As I stated, there’s about 3 main belief systems that rule this world: Allah, Money, or the Alleviation of Suffering (Compassion). Jesus falls in line with Buddha since he learned most everything he knew in India.

Well whatever…human conflict bores me in general, as does petty street crime. Any human interaction which is based in violence, dehumanization, and abuse bores me, but it seems to be the soup du jour of this website…so what else am i going to do but to comment along these lines when I hear of such heinous atrocity? Humans are really effed up. It doesn’t help to promulgate false bullshit, even if it sorta makes you feel good inside. Time to get real about religion.

It doesn’t take an expert to see children of divorce end up with blank hollow stares, emotional attachment issues, and general confusion. When mommy and daddy are gone from 7 am to 9:30 pm and they sit and watch Disney channel, and play Super Mario Brothers all evening, it doesn’t take a child psychology expert to understand what kind of brainwashed tv addicted citizens they’ll become. I agree with you on this one. My analysis of Islam is that ultimately it is an impediment to the advancement of human civilization, and by all regards humans would be better off were it utterly obliterated. I think all attempts at importation of Muslims into America should cease (as in Europe) and all foreign aid to those regions cut off. They need to be completely isolated, not kowtowed to. Digital Allah? The hypocrisy amongst their adherents is plentiful. Quarantine them.
I know some people will completely disagree as they believe dilution is the best way to deal with Islam, but in Europe where their population numbers are high and their sub culture strong and intact, they breed violence and eventually dream of overtaking the governments they reside in. They are indeed like a cancer in that regard. Islam is easy, I get that. It’s easy to fall down on the carpet and pray, and not have to think. Better “release” can be had with massage and Buddha IMO
