CLEAR LAKE – A Clear Lake man arrested last month for domestic abuse assault causing injury and later accused of violating a protective order will face a contempt hearing this week.
Chad Thomas West, age 43, has been arrested twice by Clear Lake police, first on November 9 after a domestic incident at his home and then on December 8 for allegedly violating the protective order in the case.
West will face a contempt hearing on December 16. He also awaits a jury trial on January 13. He has been released from jail on bond.
