MASON CITY – A convicted felon from Mason City who tried to help other inmates in jail get high is now facing new drug charges of delivering meth.

Ashley Anne Aird, age 32, was arrested at the Ruby Tuesday restaurant where she works at 11:35 PM on an arrest warrant.

Aird faces a felony charge of delivery of methamphetamine brought by the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office. The incident allegedly took place in November of last year. The charge was filed Wednesday, September 17.

Aird is a convicted felon and Beje Clark alum, and she is waiting to go back there right now as she is held in jail on $10,000 cash bond. Beje is full right now, so she cannot be placed there until bed space opens.

Aird has been accused of crimes such as possessing weapons in jail, possessing drugs in jail, furnishing drugs to other inmates, possession meth precursors, enhanced third degree theft, drug possession, probation violations, and more.

NO, Silly! Don’t put SUGAR in your coffee! Use THIS powder instead. Just be sure to leave me a $125 “tip”.

first of all yea the restraunt has nothing to do with this girl as too the crime but they took a chance and for doing so ended up with someonewho refused to change the way they live and what they choose to bring into the ways they live some of these poeple even wouldn’t know what being sober is so if youy have never had any drug or alchol problem dont judge yea she was wrong asto doin what she did in the one place thart had given her a chance and basically slaped them in theface and took a job as well asa chance that another person who has been convicted of a drug crime but iswilling to change and wants the chance they gave ashley but things are changing and the people are getting more violent and the drugs will never stop no matter where you go in this world its up to us to choose who we hang with who hangs around your place of living or work its no joke we have so many homeless here in mason cuz they refuse to work and if they do get a job or even a place to live but still are unwilling to change or just plain dont want to change their life style and continue stealing lieng cheating and beating otherws up cuz they can and thinks its cool to live like this is to me such a discussting part of our human kind living breathing and walking this earth but the drugs arent the biggest problem why cant you people focus more on child abuse or animal abuse they should be the top topic not the damn drugs we need to be their voices if we dont then who will so we put drug dealers behind bars much much longer than these animal and child abusers whitch i find to be the worse part of our society not a drug dealer or someone like this gal!!

Is this what is known as an INSIDER ?

She is everything that is wrong with our society.

Aw, she must just be mis-understood. We should turn her loose and see if she can poison someone else or perhaps get someone’s child started on drugs.

I think it’s terrible how the place of employment is pictured when they had nothing to do with the crime. The employer takes a risk, hires someone and then is pictured on the net just because they were employed there??? Unbelievable, where is common sense.

@Matt-Totally agree with your comments. I refuse to eat at Taco Bell.

Good advice, Matt. I should certainly cut back!

I am with Matt on this. Who wants that type of people making and serving your food.

“First of all, this is where the arrest took place. In telling a story, a visual is helpful to the reader. A photo is worth a thousand words, so they say.”

That visual tells zip about the story. It’s no more informative or adds to it in any way more than a picture of the telephone pole out front would.

If you know anything about journalism, you know that your personal opinion on the restaurant’s food should play absolutely no role in your use of the pic for an unrelated story.

I seriously doubt a drug addict is going to just put dope in your food…thats ridiculus. As far as addicts serving food ..they are people just as the beje clark crowd…they to are people…just because u havent been caught doesnt make u any more of a person..THERE ISNT ONE PERSON IN THIS WORLD THAT DOESNT BREAK SOME LAW THE GOVERMENT HAS PROVIDED US TO FOLLOW and further more everyone is addicted to something….it doesnt mean they dont know how to work at a food establishment and work hard like everyone else. Drug addicts wont waste their dope by just putting it in someones food…for kicks…When they can do it themselves. Lets get real. Yes there are some crazy mother f#$@&rs out there that may do something like that some where but i dont believe that this is the case. Im not defending this girl or tge drug community…im just saying your statement really makes u out to look like u think u are above everyone else and im sure your back yard isnt picture perfect.
