CLEAR LAKE – Law enforcement worked together Thursday afternoon to catch a man on the run after an assault.
Cerro Gordo deputies assisted Clear Lake police after an assault was reported Thursday afternoon. Officers searched an area near Second Avenue South and the public works buildings east to 12th Avenue South for a Hispanic male suspect believed to be involved in the incident. During the course of the search, officers located 28-year-old Jose Louis Ramos near 2101 12th Avenue South and placed him under arrest on a charge of willful injury. He is being held on $5,000 cash or surety bond at this time.
